My Grandparents taught me that word and what I learned was that when they said it- how do we put it nowadays oh yes, ” S%!T Just Got Real “-.
Maybe it’s me, but saying ” Cattywampus ” is much more fun and satisfying ( like popping bubble wrap ) then puffing out one’s chest and declaring ” S%$T just got real ”
