If you had such a magical map of your town, what would you use it for? If you would not use it, is there another person to whom you would gift it?
If I had a magical map of the town I have been consigned to, I would use it to find a way to get the heck out and I would burn it in the hopes I would forget I had ever lived there.
When was the last time you made a snowball? Were in a snowball fight?
I made one last year and threw it to my dog. Sometimes he tossed it back and sometimes he ate it.
Many cultures set great value in each child of the family having godparents. Did you have godparents? Are you a godparent yourself?
I do have Godparents. My Godmother has passed away and my Godfather is my Uncle and he lives a block away from me. It was a very nice feeling to know you had someone out there to look after you if your parents couldn’t, but it seemed to me that in my family being a Godparent was a role that people were honored to have and the Godparents and Godchildren always acknowledged their relationships with each other with a lot of affection.
I’m not a Godparent to any human children, but I have been a Godparent to a cat, three dogs and a tankful of guppies.
You have found a secret tunnel under your house. Where does it go?
Need you ask?
Muggle Questions (of a more philosophical bent this week):
Is intelligence or wisdom more useful?
Intelligence is more useful- if you’ve got moxie you’re smart enough to seek out wisdom and that’s always an adventure.
How important is play in living a healthy and fulfilling life?
Very. Very. Very important- if I don’t say that then it means that all of the goofy games I play with my dog are just the actions of a person who is no exactly ” people friendly “. and needs to be ‘socialized’ as we dog owners say.
Is happiness just chemicals flowing through your brain or something more?
It’s chemicals in your brain, but unless you do things like laugh or play or find things to enjoy then those chemicals don’t get produced. So sure, you have to work at it but it’s worth the rush you get, don’t you think?
