I know it’s not just me
but it seems
that when I finally get my arms and mind wrapped around
an idea, a problem a puzzle
something comes along and kicks the chair
right out from under me
and leaves me hanging, dangling
twisting in the wind
with only chattering birds and hungry bugs for company.
