Halloween Journal Prompt #10 If I could be a vampire or a witch, what would I rather be and why?

Witches and Vampires are beautiful, sexy, calm and cool and composed.

They dress in leather and velvets and lace, they like to attend the the Opera, they love to read poetry in dark cavernous libraries   though it seems like they treat libraries and theaters like buffets so I’m not sure how cultured they actually are.

I am not beautiful, sexy, cool and composed. I have zero fashion sense and I am pretty sure that wouldn’t change in death or even if I made a deal that would have the Devil saying to himself the next morning, ” Did I do that? Did I REALLY do that? “

I don’t want to spend eternity looking for the right accessories to wear with my dresses, or hunting for the best places to dine,  or existing on the edges the world quietly with a sly, quiet, demure  little smile painted on my face.

I’d rather be a werewolf with big eyes and big teeth be able to run off leash through life instead of strolling through it in a nice pair of shoes.
