Over the wall, covered with shrimp, flat colorful shrimp with snapdragon heads a woman said to her friend, ” this captures a sense of reality. Don’t you think?”

Cally’s friend Maggie reached and touched the cool cement wall. ” Once I went to an aquarium and I saw tanks of fish and sponges and coral. It was just before Halloween. I was in New Orleans and that day it was hot. So I sat in the Aquarium and I watched the seahorses and seat turtles swimming around for a couple of hours. The air was cool in there and it was so quiet that I didn’t want to leave.”

” So you were cut off from the world, ” Cally said ” this brings you in and captures you. It makes you think.”

Maggie stepped back from the wall.

It was very tall and she couldn’t look over it.

The Shrimp with the Snapdragon heads lined the wall that ran up and down the street and behind her were rows and rows of buildings decorated with metal trees and flowers and birds.

” I guess it does. ” Maggie agreed.
