Had some British professors who I partied with in grad school. When not introducing me to needed concepts in anthropology they introduced me to some of the choicer bits of English not normally heard on my side of the Atlantic – ahhh the educational value of an Ivy League education!
My family had some deep British and Canadian roots- that coupled with the fact the other half of my family were Asian meant I have one heck of a colorful vocubulary!
