One Liner Wednesday- It’s a Mystery

For Linda G Hill’s  One Liner Wednesday

I chose this quote to remind myself why I love to write, I chose these two portraits to go with it because all of the figures are faceless and a bit odd.

I had an idea why August Macke chose to paint these portraits the way he did and I did guess right. Whatever his intentions, I still find them macabre and beautiful and they fit the quote I’ve chosen beautifully.
