It’s a New Year and Facebook Is Still Insane

In Facebook land you can say President Biden is a child molester, you can call your FORMER friends Libtards, but the following  Meme will get you put in Facebook jail faster than you can say, ” Grab them by the  P%#!Y because it goes against ‘community standards’.

No, I didn’t post the gem below, but I have been jailed for things that probably toed the line- like I’ve  called Trump Supporters” Covid Ridden stains on humanity” BUT I added smiley emojis and prayer hands to show I was sharing my POV with a light  and prayerful heart.  Didn’t work.

It was worth the 72 hour time out, so whatever.

As a side note, I’m not sure what Facebook’s vision of a Community is, but they let me store as many pictures there as I want, so I’m still there. But when I think of who is enforcing those Facebook’s community standards I have an idea that it is someone like this:

Back to the issue at hand: This post will get you sent to time out in Facebook world. Prepare to be shocked:

I don’t know about you, but I feel so much safer now.

  1. I hardly say anything there now. Besides the bans and timeouts, so many of my “friends” have turned into jerks. I’m sorry I ever returned and ruined my 2-year break, but there are a few people I’m happy I reconnected with. Maybe FB simply isn’t the place to hang out and be yourself, or any social media really. It’s funny ~ my Monday Peeve is about having to self-censor for other reasons…

    • I’ve heard people say that they can tell what kind of mood someone is in by the posts in their wall. I mean, if you are being defined by Facebook- woof. People swear by that. I point out that my blog is probably better at showing where my head is and my friend says, ” well, yes but you write fiction ” As if Facebook isn’t a fiction- I don’t get it, so I don’t play.

    • That meme was on my friend’s wall, but like when I flammed Trump, unless your wall is open to the public, someone on your ‘friend’ list turned you in.

      • I slammed Trump at least twice a week and never got shut down. Perhaps they don’t bother to read blogs, although they were all linked to facebook.
