From the feeling this song puts out- just about everything because it’s all about falling in love with someone that you know isn’t good for you.
That aside, a several of my friends named their daughters ” Ramona ” after this song which is interesting because my Mom said people in her day were naming their daughters after Debbie Reynolds and Elizabeth Taylor.
To me, that’s an odd choice because Ramona, Elizabeth and Debbie all had issues and personally I wouldn’t have named my daughter after any of them.
At any rate Johnny gets a shout out here in the lyrics and it’s in keeping with Jim Adam’s Song Lyric Sunday prompt where we were inspired to explore songs with the names ” John and Jack ” in the works.

Anita Marie great choice going with the Ramones. Ramona works for the British Bureau of Intelligence and this guy is infatuated with her. However because she was a spy, it led him to feel confused and frustrated over his feelings for her because he didn’t know if they were faked or if she did it to get information.
