My Parlor

RDP:  Onomatopoeia

Photographer Unknown

Late last night

in my dark parlor bathed in silver moonlight

I heard

a

cough

and then I heard a

creak

and then I felt a

thump that made my floorboards jump under my feet.

I held my breath

I let it go

and as I did

something

 howled,

someone

growled

I put my hand over my chest.

Oh, be still my silly heart.

Our Werewolves have arrived for tea.

Which Witch?

#100HALLOWEENHAPPY#Witchy

My favorite Witches are the vicious Witches- the Witches who would strike deals with the Devil to get what they wanted- the ones who would curse the fields so that nothing would grow and why did they do horrible these things?

Because they WANTED to and they were a little Psycho to boot.

In addition they were fun to read about and write about- and it was fun to be afraid of them too.

I  am a  sorry to see that for the most part Witches have had their fangs pulled out and their claws removed and that they now wear yards of chiffon and sport poodle perms   and burn sage instead of villages, but that’s just me.

You hope.

LOL.

See you on Halloween, happy or not!

Lock The Doors

Today’s WP prompt asks: What change, big or small, would you like your blog to make in the world?

Seriously WP- have you seen my blog? Yes, that’s a  rhetorical question  but it’s safe to say that you don’t want me or my blog to influence the world in any shape or form. In fact, I’d advise you to cross those  Word Press fingers super tight and HOPE the world continues to ignore my blog.

I house my nightmares here and I write about my demons and base some of my monsters on people I know.

Let’s hope they all stay here.

For all of our sakes.
