Daily prompt asks: How would you design the city of the future?
If I were to design ‘ the city of the future’ I would make sure that you could hear echoes from the past during the day or late at night. The future needs to be haunted just a little the world that used to be.

In the Future I would design buildings that not only look like they could fly, but do.

Why?

When I think about the Future,  flying always pops to mind. Besides, after taking that long walk to the future my feet will need some rest.

I just hope that in this world of Flying Buildings and Ghosts from the past haunting the future that somewhere there are towns and villages where the buildings don’t fly and during the winter when it snows people still pick their way carefully over icy sidewalks and a lot of people make snowmen and kids still  make snow angels.

For today’s Halloween Happy challenge I went to Google’s AI  Bard and keyed in the word ‘bat’. Then I went a little batty and keyed  in vampires and graves and moons and stars just to see what it would give me.

What do you know? The Bard  did give me something to think about ( I picked the pictures out myself ), so sure. It was fun. Check it out:

I am named after my Mom’s

FORMER

best friend.

They had a falling out over 40 years ago and at that point

my Mom stopped calling me Anita.

 

I have been Marie to my Mom and most of my family  since then. I answer to both

Anita, Marie or Anita Marie. It’s all the same to me.

 

Besides, I have seen enough gravestones in my life to know that a name

is only a tag and it’s not what people call you that matters. Its how they

sound when they do it.

Heads-up

I have also learned that naming your kids after your friends isn’t the best idea you

could ever have.

I am motivated by fear.

That’s it.

I write about it, I read about it, I dream about it.

Sometimes I wonder what my life would look like

if Fear didn’t follow me around like a loyal and well trained dog

my shadow, my companion, my Muse.

I think I might die of boredom of loneliness

if Fear were to abandon me

and leave me to face a dull and overly pastel painted world

all on my own.
