Today me and Luis decided to go to Sorrento’s after I got off of  work-I love Sorentos for a’ few good reasons like it’s spooky romantic vibe and the Dunbar  Room’s bar which looks like a fancy railway car to some but to me it feels like you’re on board a ship in a cabin.

Plus Sorrento’s  is supposed to be haunted. I mean,  come on what is not to love?

I love the Dunbar Room for another reason- it’s the one and only place I go and drink:

Absinthe.

So today we went back again and I got my wonderful light green spicey licorice flavored drink.

Absinthe is magical- it even tastes good with Gelato.

Maybe it was the absinthe, but today when Luis went to hang his jacket up just behind me on the wall, I noticed that the coat hook was a monkey:

It wasn’t just a regular decorative monkey, this little monkey looked like it wants to mess  you up.

I”m planning a couple of more trips to Sorrento’s soon ( they have cool events) and the next time I hope to find more little treasures like the Monkey.
