JOHN ROGERS COX, “Gray and Gold”
Under dark skies
along unmarked roads
passing through towns that died
when no one was looking and nobody cared
I am trying to find a home
to rest my bones
and put my spirit to rest
maybe the sun is shining there,
but I doubt it.
I love this ever so much. Evokes so much. Thanks for joining in Anita 🙂 🙂
